A rapidly expanding spin out materials company is seeking a talented Account Manager to join their Business Development Team. You will work along-side the Business Development Manager in maintaining and developing relationships with key account contacts. You will possess a degree with a scientific background and previous experience working within the business development sector.

The Role

The company is seeking a Relationship Management Associate to join the team, with the role of:

  • Maintaining regular contact for key accounts.
  • Supporting the Business Development Manager in identifying and engaging potential prospects.
  • Collaborating with the product development team to communicate progress on key projects to clients and external partners.
  • Maintaining the CRM system

Experience Required

The company is seeking candidates with:

  • Previous experience in a client relationship management role, managing B2B contacts
  • Attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple workstreams
  • Previous exposure to the food and beverage or packaging industry is desirable
  • Ability to grasp and understand complicated scientific technologies and translate these for different audiences
  • An enthusiasm for addressing plastic pollution, and an interest in sustainability
  • The right fit for a small, science-led, innovative team and a high level of autonomy, creativity, and independence
  • An individual with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • An outgoing personality and interest in exposure to various industries far beyond existing experience
