Pharmaceutical Project Manager

CK Group are recruiting for a Pharmaceutical Project Manager to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 6 months. This is a full time position and you will be expected to go into the office 2-3 days per week in Cambridge.

Up to £450pd Ltd, this role is outside IR35

Cambridge and remote working. This role would typically be on site 2 or 3 days per week with the rest of the time home working. This site is one of the most exciting bioscience hotspots in the world. It is the largest research and development centre in the UK, designed to hold more than 2,000 people working across therapy areas and drug discovery and development.

Project Manager Role:

  • Provide project management to one or more projects in the Human Biological Samples (HBS) Transformation Program
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement processes, for providing accurate project information for decision making and business reporting, and for capacity, budget and resource management.
  • Delivery of routine sample processing to increase quality and productivity
  • Build of a new, automated central Biocentre and digitization of the associated local HBS services, and the HBS lifecycle

Your Background:

  • Strong Project Management Experience within a scientific project management environment
  • Hold a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
  • Professional project management qualification (e.g. PMP)
  • High-level understanding and interest in Biosamples
  • Experience of using PLANIT to accurately forecast resource and maintain milestones
