Job Title: Senior Scientist

Vacancy type: Permanent

Location: North West, Chester

We are currently looking for a Senior Scientist to join a global, innovative, medical device and product organisation, to join the R&D team and assist in the creation of new product lines and the continuous support and development of existing products.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Search for, research and develop new materials, and formulate and analyse new technologies.
  • Assist in R&D project updates to ensure effective planning of testing, method validations and stimulated use studies.
  • Support business relationships with external consultants, vendors, and research institutes.

The successful Senior Scientist will be qualified to at least a degree level in a science-related subject, and will have a broad understanding of physical/chemical/material/biological sciences, as well as experience of working with a wide range of scientific techniques. They will also be proactive, adaptable and will be able to communicate complex ideas clearly and generate technical/scientific reports.
