Key Areas of Responsibility
*Respond to medical product information enquires from patients, pharmacies and healthcare professionals.
*Mentor peers serving as a subject matter expert on pharmacy regulations, processes and issues.
*Liaising with regulatory authorities:
*Submission of MHRA import notifications for CBPM's.
*Applying for Home Office controlled drug import licences for CBPM's.
*Management of the CBPM process.
*Filing and maintaining records relating to the import and supply of CBPM's.
*To identify opportunities and propose measures for continuous improvement.
*Have awareness of the responsibilities and duties of the Responsible Person in relation to your job role.
*Record any Customer Complaints received and forward the information to the Quality Assurance Department for investigation.
*Inform the Responsible Person of any reports of adverse drug reactions reported.
*Maintain your training record and ensure training for your job role is completed as identified on the Training Matrix.
*Ensure any proposed changes to GDP systems (e.g. facility, operations, equipment, materials) have been approved via the Change Control procedure before any changes are made.
Qualifications and Skills
*A UK registered pharmacist.
*Pro-active and solutions driven, with the ability to work to strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
*Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
*Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
*Fully IT literate: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Exact Online (desirable).
*Highly self-motivated with strong inter-personal skills.
*Effective planning, organisational and administrative skills.
