Mediplacements are recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Pharmacist in Luton, Bedfordshire. Our client requires a driven candidate to lead the production team in the manufacture of unbranded and unlicensed medicines.

The job is available to start ASAP, working pattern will be covering full-time hours Monday - Friday

Job Purpose:

Leading the production team to manufacture unlicensed medicines to the best of their abilities. Motivating the team to complete daily order requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
*Manage production capacity daily, ensure capacity is being met
oPlanning the daily workload and future workload to effectively meet customer requirements
oEnsuring products are stored according to SOP, product segregation etc
oManage sufficient staffing for number of current and future orders
oReporting to Directors and quality on capacity monthly

*Manage cleaning of production suite, ensure standards are maintained, ensure cover is organised for cleaning.
*Ensure all batch records are fully complete
*Ensure all appropriate logbooks are kept up to date
*Supporting Quality Assurance with resource and technical support to complete validation of equipment
*Completing appropriate training plans
*Ensuring maintenance of lab and warehouse is up to date, action any issues identified
*Support the investigation of deviations and the proposal of CAPA
*Action CAPA when required
*Participate in management reviews of process performance, quality review meetings etc.
*Promotes continuous improvement, works towards increasing efficiency across the production and warehouse teams, looks to improve quality adherence thought out the team.
*Ensures all reoccurring tasks are completed on time, e.g., stock checks, expired stock checks etc.

General Responsibilities:

*Ensuring the work you do is of a high standard and that SOP's and policies are followed at all times.
*Acting as an ambassador for the business, presenting the company in a positive way at all times with clients, customers and colleagues.
*Working flexibly and efficiently to meet customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards.
*Maintain confidentiality and security at all times.
