The Company

A leading medical devices company are looking for a Product Development Quality Assurance Officer to join their busy quality team to work on quality and regulatory support for their IVD products. The company develops diagnostic assays and last year launched their unique product into the market. They are looking to continue their development of industry leading products to the healthcare market.

The Job

The successful Product Development Quality Assurance Officer will work on a range of duties including;

  • Work to ensure ISO13485 and FDA regulations are met
  • Support design and development to maintain quality standards and conduct design review
  • Review and approve protocols for verification and validation
  • Carry out risk management for the assays
  • Create and maintain technical files for regulatory submission
  • Support transfer of products from R&D to manufacture

Your Experience

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience;


  • Proven experience in QA working within the life sciences sector, ideally with a focus on product development.
  • ISO13485 experience would be highly advantageous


  • Proven experience within R&D or QC in medical devices where you have some limited experience of QA duties
