Financial Reporting Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to work with a large multinational FTSE 100 company.

You will be responsible within Corporate Control for ensuring the Group meets its external reporting requirements for the year end (31 December).

You will work within the Groups monthly corporate consolidation (a dedicated team of 4, including this role) utlising Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). You will act as a point of contact for Company Secretary and the Groups external Auditors (KPMG).

Location: Slough - Work from home flex

Rate: 420 PAYE rate

Duration: 6 months initially

Role Summary:

Review of corporate consolidation ensuring support and schedules are of sufficient quality.

Reviewing key reconciliations and control schedules produced by the team to ensure they are complete.

Financial disclosures and preparation of back half of annual report

Ensure smooth running of audit process around the back half of accounts and related disclosures. For example ensuring deliverables are prepared on time, chasing down outstanding items.

Completion of year end corporate consolidation, including review of consolidation adjustments and corporate balance sheets.

Completion of external announcements, including the Groups Annual report in February that are free from material and clerical error.

Good relations and open and efficient lines of communication with Investor Relations and Company Secretary.

Experience/ Qualifications Required:

Qualified ACA with multiple years experience

Experience of FTSE 350 reporting to London Stock Exchange and Group Annual Report, this can either be gained by:

o Working at Manager level within Big 4 listed company Audit practice.

o Working in industry overseeing the external reporting or working within the external reporting team of an existing FTSE listed business.

Accuracy in preparing outputs and disclosures for external reporting.

Proven track record of delivery and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management and having used it in the past is essential.

Working knowledge of European Securities and Markets Agency (EMSA) and Financial Reporting Council (FRC) guidance for reporting for public companies would also be an asset.
