Regulatory Affairs Officer

CK Group are recruiting for a Regulatory Affairs Officer to join an agrochemicals manufacturing company on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based out of the company\'s site near Basingstoke, although there is the opportunity for some home working, depending on experience.

The company has an R&D programme which draws on a range of market and technical intelligence. They aim to provide solutions to pest problems by supplying pest control products globally. They now seek an experienced Regulatory Officer to join the team, reporting to the Regulatory Manager. The role involves communicating and negotiating with regulatory authorities, interpreting and applying relevant legislation, liaising with local regulatory contacts, compiling and submitting regulatory dossiers and ensuring that pesticide product registrations are maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also organise insecticide and rodenticide submissions in the the EU and the rest of Europe. The company offers a salary in the range of £35-40,000pa depending on experience, and the hours are 08:30 ? 17:00 with benefits including an employee assistance programme, health cash plan, private medical insurance, and the option for hybrid working depending on experience.

Location:
The Regulatory Officer role will be based at the company\'s site near Basingstoke, easily commutable from Winchester, Newbury, Alton, Guilford, Farnborough, Reading and surrounding areas.

Regulatory Officer Role:
Your main duties will be:
? maintenance of authorisations
? management of dossiers under EU review
? maintenance of authorisations for the company\'s insecticide portfolio under EU and/or national rules
? development of EU data packages for the company\'s insecticide products
? assisting the line manager with project management; coordinating, organising and planning complex regulatory dossiers for submission to regulatory bodies; assuring the consistency of the data
? working with customers and with various disciplines within the company
? working to obtain territory regulatory approvals to enable the development of new markets or new products
? liaising with territory regulatory authorities and/or local regulatory contacts in the progression of regulatory projects
? Conducting product safety assessments for the territory
? Liaising with all departments and project teams to co-ordinate timely applications for approval of products
? Maintaining information on territory regulatory requirements and the status of product registrations

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
-Degree qualified (minimum 2.2 or above) or equivalent in a relevant subject including chemistry or biological sciences - essential
-Knowledge and experience gained in a regulatory role in industry - essential
-Preferably significant experience in regulatory affairs in the biocidal/ public health sectors
-An understanding of the commercial pressures and requirements of regulatory affairs within a biocidal/ public health business
