Quality Specialist

We are currently looking for a Quality Specialist to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Manchester area. As the Quality Specialist you will be responsible for providing administrative support to customers and colleagues and overseeing quality of products manufactured ensuring GMP compliance.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Quality Specialist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Maintaining databases such as error recording, enquiries, final release, CAPA and QMS.

2.Review Finished Batch Record and GMP Release for final QP Release.

3.Oversee and input to QMS related Change Control, Non-conformance and CAPA activities and develop, and update the Quality Management System activities associated with the release of product.

4.Reporting all deviations, complaints, change control and errors to seniors and QA Manager and assisting with carrying out quality investigations. As the quality specialist you will also be Reporting these findings and writing various other pieces of documentation.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Quality Specialist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Scientific subject.

2. Proven industry experience in a administrative or office based GMP environment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP compliance guidelines and Quality assurance activities.
