Graduate Biomedical Design Engineer - Medical Devices - South Birmingham - Home Based

An established Medical Devices company, based in South Birmingham, are currently looking for a Master Graduate Biomedical Design Engineer to help with product development, Project Management and technical files duties.

Although the company are based in South Birmingham, you will only be expected to be in the office one or two days a week, depending on meetings etc. This is not just during the COVID19 time, but continually in your career with the company.

The company is quite small, due to its size it is expected that you would cover a number of duties in the business. This includes 3D CAD design of biomedical medical devices and the project management or project leadership for these devices, while also working on Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Technical Files.

Apart from the design and project management, you will work on the quality assurance and regulatory affairs for the devices. It would be useful if you have experience with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs duties already during your degree and masters, however this aspect of the role can be trained.

Ideally, you would have had a work placement within a Medical Devices company, ideally Biomedical Devices.

This company has connections with distributors across the globe with a very good reputation, due to this, sales of their products stay high and means the job security offered if higher than most companies.

Ideally, Medical Devices design experience would be using SolidWorks, however another 3D CAD system could be considered but it is essential that you have designed Medical Devices.

You will be rewarded with an excellent starting salary, pension, healthcare, 25-days holiday (plus bank holidays), home based work (however if you prefer to work from the office, you can) and interesting and continual development work.

I'm expecting a lot of interest in this role due to the ability to work from home and the variety the role offers, so apply now or risk missing out. The company are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, but understand you may have a notice period.
