Contract Software Applications Engineer - Medical Devices

Cambridgeshire   •  Negotiable  •  Permanent, Full time

Contract Software Applications Engineer - Medical Devices - Immediate Start

A Medical Devices company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for an experienced Software Applications Engineer to work on a six-month contract, with likely extensions.

You will be working on Medical Software to EN 62304 standards, so knowledge of this is essential for this role. The software will be written in a mixture of C++ and Python on a Linux platform.

It would be highly advantageous if you have worked on Medical Imaging projects in the past, but not essential.

Ideally you will be based on-site daily, however there may be an option to have a couple of days from home weekly, when not needed in the offices.

You are going to work on some extremely interesting projects, things that I'm sure could result in future roles both with the company and with other companies in the same Medical Devices field.

The day-rate/weekly-rate is being left open as it depends on the level of experience you have. If preferred, they are also open to Fixed-Term-Contracts or Permanent Positions to.

We are looking for someone to start as quickly as possible, so if you are interested, I suggest making an application now or risk missing out.
