Senior Mechanical Engineer - Fluidic Systems - Cambridge

A well-backed technology start-up in Cambridgeshire is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to take lead on the design and development of new and potentially disruptive fluidic-based technology.

This exciting new role will give the Mechanical Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge products at the forefront of the medical devices and industrial sectors alongside world-class engineers.

This position will also encompass leadership within the team but will remain very much a hands-on role focused on the design and development of complex devices that rely heavily on fluid dynamics and fluid mechanics techniques.

We are looking for people with a passion for engineering and solving complex real-world problems.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or other closely related subjects as well as some experience within a highly regulated environment, such as; medical devices, oil and gas or defence. Although you will not be using CAD on a daily basis you will need to be proficient in either SolidWorks, Creo, ProE or Siemens NX. You will also need to possess excellent mathematical skills and knowledge of programming and extensive knowledge of fluidics.
