Formulation Development Specialist
Location: Wiltshire
Salary: dependant on experience
My client is an expert in powder and liquid formulation with a focus on formulating therapies for inhalation. They are looking for a Formulation Specialist to join their team. This role is a highly diverse position where you will be helping to develop the companys next generation of nebuliser formulations as well as providing expertise to customers. You will have the opportunity to work with a large amount of autonomy, you will act as the first point of contact and the technical expert within formulation development.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the development of drug products and technologies
Developing novel liquid formulations and new intellectual property within drug development
Resolving issues with formulation viscosity, osmolality and rheology
Acting as the site SME within liquid formulation development
Providing support to the development team and pass on technical know-how within method developments
Leading projects within resource requirements and take charge of technical deliverables
Authoring and reviewing material intended for use and ensure compliance with site health and safety
Requirements:
BSc in Formulation Sciences, PhD is highly desirable due to the technicality of the role
Experience in working to pharmaceutical GMP
Extensive experience in liquid formulation
