*£24 - 30 per hour
* To assist the Clinical Trials and Research Senior Pharmacist in all aspects of clinical trials and ensure compliance with current national legislation, the International Conference of Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) guidance and the Research Governance Framework (2005) in the conduct of clinical research.
* To provide pharmaceutical advice and support development of the Clinical Trial Pharmacy Service, in order to optimise patient benefit from treatment with medicines and ensure the safe, efficacious and cost effective use of medicines. To ensure the provision of a quality pharmaceutical dispensing and aseptic service to patients within the trust with regard to clinical trials.
You will be required to verify clinical trial prescriptions, final checking IMPs, and covering dispensary and production services. Our client is in the process of implementing a new trial set up so communicating and co-ordinating with R&I, research directorates and external sponsors will be a regular activity. The post will be working across various sites as and when required.
To qualify for this position, it is essential that you hold an MPharms Degree, along with GPhC registration. Recent UK Hospital and Clinical trial experience is essential to be considered for this position.
