Electromechanical Engineer - Instrument Design - Cambridge
Newton Colmore Consulting are working with a scientific instrument start-up in Cambridge and we are searching for experienced Mechanical Engineers and Electronics Engineers to take lead on electromechanical systems design.
This exciting new role will give the Electromechanical Design Engineer an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge products at the forefront of the biotechnology sector alongside some of the brightest minds in the field. This position will also encompass leadership within the team but will remain very much a hands-on role focused on the design and development of complex electromechanical systems and instruments.
Your focus will be on design and development of complex electromechanical systems, including electronics, some light software development and liquid-handling robotic system design.
As well as leading the development of the systems you will also have the opportunity to shape future research and development programmes and held build a new product from the ground up.
We are looking for people who have significant electromechanical design experience with a deep understanding of mechanical design, electronics, and schematic design. This will be coupled with a passion for technology that aims to improve people's lives and strong academics.
In exchange for your skills and expertise, the company offer a highly competitive package including share options and the opportunity to work on ground-breaking products in a team that gets stuck in together.
