We're currently seeking a Training Lead based in and around Plymouth to work within a state of the art, high output diagnostics laboratory environment as part of the UK's NHS Test and Trace programme.

The main purpose of the role is to support the technical and personal development of Laboratory staff through the provision and oversight of training and competency.
The successful candidate will ensure the timely and accurate recording of all training and competency related documentation, identify training needs and work with the appropriate staff to address these needs and ensure the continued maintenance of skills and knowledge required to effectively carry out the role.
In order to be successful in the role of Training Lead you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
- Minimum of 2 years post state registration experience in an accredited laboratory
- BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences or a degree acceptable to the IBMS and the Health Professions Council (HPC)
- Experience of teaching/training at a higher level.
- A recognized qualification in teaching/training or significant demonstrable experience.
