A growing diagnostics manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join its team. You will supervise the ELISA plate coating and bulk reagent operation, leading a team of 2-3 technicians. To be considered, you must have previous experience operating at a supervisory level in another fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ideally have experience, or an understanding, of ELISA manufacturing.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Management of lab operation
- Mentoring and supervising Technicians, including line management
- Organising schedules and workloads
- Review all Technician Output
- Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
- Contributing to document review, process improvement and future upscale
- Collaborating with other departments
- Risk and COSHH assessments
- Perform other duties as required by the business
Qualifications:
- Scientific based degree desirable or appropriate industrial experience.
Technical Skills and Experiences:
- Experience in supervisory roles, ideally manufacturing
- Experience working within a laboratory to a GMP/GLP framework
- Strong understanding of ELISA manufacturing process
- Equipment Implementation and troubleshooting
