Job type: Permanent position, Full-time (Mon-Fri and office hours)
Responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. You will be responsible for the unpacking and checking of goods received against documentation and arranging the shipping and despatch of products to customers. This will involve maintaining records; rejecting unsatisfactory products and making sure all import/export and license documentation are included with in/out bound products. Products will commonly have a shelf life and will be shipped internationally so its essential products are packaged correctly and all necessary documentation is included as otherwise the product may be spoiled. The job requires individuals with an excellent eye for detail, who are process orientated and have a passion for quality and getting things right first time.
Previous warehouse experience is required for this role; ideally from a life science, FMCG or Food and beverage environment. The successful candidate must also be fluent in English with excellent communication skills. You will be IT literate and able to learn and follow operating procedures. Any previous experience dealing with import/export or customs documentation would be desirable.
