Account Director, Global Medical Communications Team
Location: Home based, or office based in the South of England

One of our Global CROs has a great new opportunity for an Account Director to join their Medical Communications Team. For this position you will need to be confident in you approach with strong Account Manager or Account Director Medcoms experience in Pharma, CRO, Biotech or Medical Devices and have previous experience of managing both Regional & Global Accounts. Our client offers excellent professional advancement so this would be the perfect prospect for any experienced Account Managers who are looking to progress their career to the next level into an Account Director role.

Requirements:
Life Sciences Degree
5 years+ working in a Medical Communications Agency, Pharma or CRO.
Strong Business Development Skills advantageous.
Experience in leading strategic events.
Ability to build up excellent rapport with clients, therefore understanding their needs.
Must have a clear interpretation of the drug development process and product marketing strategy and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing new and existing client relationships for specific accounts and therapy areas.
Increase revenues and evolve assigned accounts.
Team management, Leadership, Mentoring.
Provision of briefings, direction and leadership to the delivery team to ensure outstanding quality to clients with cost effective reseources.
Usually heavily client facing, however with current COVID restrictions there is no travel required.
Delivery and Project Planning
Ability to roll out forecast meetings to ensure accuracy
