A Cambridge based Medical Devices company are currently looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer who has knowledge of working on Medical Devices or Scientific Equipment.

The company is currently going through a scale-up process which has resulted in a number of new roles being needed in the business, including this Senior Manufacturing Engineer role. Ideally, you will have experience in a scale-up business moving from a lab or workshop environment to a factory environment as your role will be vital in this transition.

Due to the technology using injection moulded cartridges you will ideally have knowledge of the manufacturing of cartridges or injection moulded technologies.

In the current climate, job security is as important as it has ever been and due to the funding, this company has, the job security for this role is better than the majority of roles in the sector.

The technology that is being developed will be implemented in a number of sectors, so we are open to someone who has worked as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, from sectors such as Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Ink-Jet other fields that have resulted in you working on the manufacturing of complex medical devices or scientific devices.

It would be advantageous if you will have worked on cartridge based fluidic systems, but it is not essential. Also, any fluidics knowledge would be a benefit, be again not essential. It is essentially that you have established a manufacturing processes in the past.

Ideally you will be aware of ISO 13485 standards and have established Manufacturing Factories within these standards in the past. Over times, we are looking to scale-up to around one-million units being produced every year.

You will be rewarded with an excellent starting salary, pension, shares scheme, life assurance, medical insurance, and other excellent benefits you would normally expect with a larger blue-chip company.

I am expecting a lot of interest in this role and for interviews to happen quickly, so if you are interested, I suggest making an application immediately or risk missing out.
