A global polymer manufacture based in the West Midlands is currently recruiting for an R&D Scientist to join their busy Technical Team. This is a permanent role, starting as soon as possible, paying £45-50,000.
The Role:
- Polymer synthesis and formulation - epoxy & polyurethane materials
- Laboratory product characterisation and application testing
- R&D project management - updating managers, communicating progress
- Providing technical support to company sales teams and customers
The Person:
- Extensive experience in polymer R&D and scale up
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Good commercial awareness and business acumen
- Happy working independently and in small teams
