Senior Digital Designer - Connected Devices - Cambridge
A fast-growing and dynamic healthcare company based in Cambridge are looking to expand their operations by bringing on board a Senior Digital Designer.
This exciting new role will give the digital designer a great opportunity to work on products that aim to improve people's lives and enhance patient experiences.
You will be utilising your design experience to develop solutions to real-world engineering problems. This will include You will be inventing and designing both digital and connected physical products that look, feel and function in a way that engage people emotionally and practically, working alongside engineers and physical product designers. To invent new products and solutions you will need to tap into your empathy and creativity.
The products you will be working on range from wearable sensing, connected devices that monitor patients vital signs, through to highly complex surgical imaging systems that need to be efficient and easy-to-use for the healthcare professional operating them. This means that you can make a real difference with your research.
As a senior hire you will also have responsibility for establishing best practice throughout the company and continuously develop processes, tools and techniques.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in a design related subject, ideally industrial design and have a strong understanding of human factors and digital design. Any exposure to medical devices and related markets would be extremely beneficial.
