Electronics Biased Biomedical Engineer - Medical Devices - Cambridge

Due to the development of some new cutting-edge Medical Devices, a Cambridge based company are currently in need of a Biomedical Engineer who can help with the companies continued advancement of their technology.

You will be working within a team of mechanical engineers, electronics engineers, physicists and scientists. Your role will help fuse these different fields together to successfully deliver on the design and production of this medical technology.

Specific knowledge of first-principals of electronics design will be essential as you will be working hands on with the products development.

This company has a reputation for continuing peoples careers and upscaling skills and knowledge of their people. Something a lot of companies do not have the resources for.

Your Biomedical Engineering knowledge could have been in a few different fields in Medical Devices, however knowledge of invasive, implantable, neurological, neurosensing or neurostimulation technologies would be highly advantageous.

It is expected that you would hold a Biomedical Engineering degree, or a Medical Devices focused Electronics degree from a leading university. We are open to people with a few years of industry experience or recent graduates who have worked on the above specific technologies. If you hold a PhD it would be highly advantageous, but not essential.

Due to the growth of this company, there is a good chance of this role developing into a leadership role as this department grows.
