Our client, which is an exciting and pioneering DNA research and development company, is looking for a talented and creative Vaccine Scientist to join their dynamic team based at the London HQ.
Embarking on Phase I/II clinical development programmes for both prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines you will both design and test them. You will discover and evaluate new vaccine candidates, supporting the advancement of novel DNA medicines, with responsibility for the execution of innovative cell-based and PCR-based assays. In addition, you are expected to support the numerous collaborative projects with academia and industry, working closely with colleagues within the group to help bridge the gap between discovery and preclinical development.
This is an exciting, fast-paced research environment suited to creative individuals who can thrive within a multidisciplinary scientific team.
To achieve success in this position you will have a BSc, MSc or PhD in cell biology/ molecular biology/immunology, together with experience in a relevant setting. You will be expert in the use and development of biological assays including flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR and ideally have a background in transfection, handling and imaging of mammalian cell culture.
