Engineering Physicist - Medical Devices - Cambridge

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineering physicist to join a new team in Cambridge to work cutting-edge and innovative medical devices.

As an Engineering Physicist, you will take a hands-on approach to a variety of roles including the design, fabrication and test of complex systems aimed at saving and improving people's lives.

You will be utilising your physics knowledge and first-principles experience to design the systems and devices as well as completing detailed engineering analysis models and running laboratory experiments on your innovations.

Because of this we are looking for physicists who love solving highly complex problems on leading edge technology and who enjoy hands-on R&D.

The company are well renowned within the marketplace for their training and development and will set you a defined career path to achieve.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have hands-on R&D experience within a medical devices or life sciences environment with proven expertise in working throughout the R&D process. Any experience with COMSOL, thermodynamics and optics is extremely beneficial for this role.
