A major global pharmaceutical organisation based in Welwyn Garden City, London, is looking for a biosamples operation project manager for a contract position.
In this role you will be responsible for the delivery and implementation of the biosample strategy in line with quality, ethical and regulatory standards (ICH/GCP/GLP). You will also ensure project level consistency for biosampling across studies and contribute to innovation and improvement activities in biosample collection, processing and data delivery.
You will also need to have the ability to influence and align large stakeholder groups. In addition, it will also be your responsibility to lead initiatives across cross functional teams, including the mentoring of more junior employees. You will also be responsible for the management of vendors as the actual sample management will be done by the vendor.
You will need:
*BSc in Life Sciences as well as previous experience of leading and managing biosample operational activities.
*In depth clinical trial experience.
*Vendor and Stakeholder management as well as some project management within a central lab would be advantageous.
*Experience in the operations and logistics of sample management is required
