My client is a global healthcare leader that has a portfolio of life changing technologies which span the spectrum of healthcare with leading businesses and products in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and branded generic medicines. They have recently reached out to us this week looking to urgently hire a brand manager to work as part of their largest consumer division which has successfully been trading for 40 years.
As a brand manager you will be responsible for driving market shares and sales while effectively developing marketing strategies to maximise profit for the business. To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in the consumer UK market as well as having extensive understanding of the NHS customer group, payment flows, patient pathways, market access challenges, regulatory and prescribing bodies.
Develop brand strategies/campaigns observing all Industry standards (i.e. ABPI Code of Practice)
Create and execute brand strategy and long-range plan for the product portfolio.
Owning the brand marketing spend and P&L
Close collaboration with field sales reps to execute brand growth strategies and customer management
Co-own medical, KOL and regulatory strategies with relevant teams to drive market penetration
Forecast new products scope and current product demand to a high level of accuracy
Track market trends and developments in specific customer groups, develop and implement specific competitive strategy
