Biomarker & Bioanalysis Senior Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Biomarker & Bioanalysis Senior Scientist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Cambridge on a on a contract basis for 7 months. Remote working is offered.

This Biomarker & Bioanalysis Senior Scientist role will be based at our clients site in Cambridge.

£15-25 per hour PAYE DOE.
Biomarker & Bioanalysis Senior Scientist Role:

  • Develop methods, design, perform, identify and solve problems and summarize data from biomarker and/or bioanalytical support to invitro and/or invivo toxicology and PK/PD studies to achieve Project Team objectives.
  • Lead interactions with projects on interpretation of bioanalysis and biomarker data.
  • Identify new approaches and technologies that would improve our ability to support projects.
  • Build an awareness of current scientific development relevant to a particular area of pathology biomarker and/or bioanalytical science.
  • Deliver high quality scientific results to agreed completion dates for several concurrent studies and schedule their own work in agreement with the Study Supervisor so that project deadlines are achieved.

Your Background:

  • Experience of biomarkers and/or bioanalysis of large molecules and oligonucleotide molecules.
  • BS or MS in related field of science (biomarker and/or bioanalysis) and at least 3 years work experience. Prior research experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry or academic research laboratory preferred.
  • Experience of biomarkers and/or bioanalysis of large molecules and oligonucleotide molecules.
  • Experience in Quantitative biomarker assay development, application and data interpretation preferred.
  • Quantitative bioanalysis assay development, application and data interpretation.
  • Biofluid and tissue sample analysis preferred.
  • Analytical techniques e.g. ligand binding/immunoassays, PCR, flow cytometry preferred.
