Scientific Start-Up - Electronics Engineer - Cambridge

An exciting and growing Scientific Start-Up company, based in Cambridge, are looking for experienced Electronics Engineers to join a team to develop their new technologies to a range of sectors in the Medical Devices and Life Sciences Fields.

This organisation is very well funded, offering great job security. They are offering share options in the company for the right people, something that is quite rare in the Cambridgeshire Biotech field at the moment.

Working within a team of Medical Devices and Scientific Electronics experts, you will continue the development of this very complex technology. Knowledge of working of fluidic based technologies would be highly advantageous.

You will mainly be using Altium Designer so experience in this field will be ideal, however if you have knowledge in other tools they can offer training to transfer across.

You will work along the full lifecycle of this products development, so knowledge in a range of electronics skills will be ideal including analogue/digital design, mixed signal processing, PCB design, ASIC design, FPGA, IC Design, Embedded C, Microcontrollers, Control Systems, Embedded systems and many others. We do not expect you to have all of this knowledge, but the more you know the better.

It is expected that you would hold a degree from a leading university along with industry experience. The level of experience can rage from one year through to Senior Electronics Engineer as we are building a team of Electronics Engineers, we are not however looking for someone at team leader/manager level. If you are currently at team leader/manager level but happy to take a step back we'd still like to hear from you.

You will be rewarded with an excellent salary and benefits package, including a shares system.

I'm expecting a lot of interest in this role, so if you are looking for a new role I'd suggest making an application now.
