Multi-Skilled Engineer - FMCG

North West London   •  £30000 - £35000 per annum  •  Permanent, Full time


A growing FMCG manufacturer requires an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join its team. Your role will be to support across the different engineering functions, including troubleshooting and repair or production equipment through to process development support. You will ideally have an engineering related degree, but previous commercial experience in a similar role is essential.

Description:

  • Report to senior engineer daily
  • Respond and supporting the repair and troubleshooting of any production equipment breakdown
  • Execute planned equipment maintenance schedule across the facility as well as in the manufacturing areas
  • Ensure all work carried out on site are conducted safely and met expected standard and outcome
  • Support on the process analysis of the manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunity
  • Scope and manage of HSE, capacity and quality improvement project for the production and facility that align with the engineering plan
  • Support on the facility maintenance to ensure the site operates in an undisrupted manner and provide a safe and comfortable environment to all employee
  • The role will involve both design and hands-on, organisation and documentation tasks

Requirement

  • An ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic person with a background of engineering in production/process/mechanical/electrical. Engineering experience of 1 - 3 years with 2:1 achievement of a BEng degree would be preferable.
