Synthetic Chemist - Cambridge - Scientific Start-Up

A growing Start-Up Scientific company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for a Synthetic Chemist to join their science team and help with the development of new technologies.

Working within a laboratory environment, along with a number of Biochemists, Chemists and Physicists, you will be a key member on the development, testing and improvement of technologies. Specifically, you will focus a lot on your time on solving chemical synthetic problems.

To be successful in this role, you would hold a relevant PhD in a Synthetic Chemistry field. Ideally you will also have some industry or post-doc experience, however we will also consider your application if you have just finished your PhD.

Due to working in a multidiscipline team, you will need to be able to communicate your ideas and results clearly and with confidence, both in person and via emails/journals.

This organisation is offering you the chance to work on cutting edge life improving technologies, an excellent starting salary and benefits package (including life assurance, medical cover, share scheme and other benefits you don't normally obtain with a start-up company).

If you are looking to test your scientific knowledge and be a part of a team of scientific experts, make an application now. I'm expecting a lot of interest in this role, so you do not want to miss out by waiting too long to apply.
