Computational Physicist - Oxford
We are currently helping a small software house, based in Oxford, who are looking to recruit a Computational Physicist who will help with the development of really complex physics and mathematical software.
You will be working within an experienced team of physicists and mathematicians who will help you with your skills development of C++ and deliver complex software programs. Ideally you will already have knowledge of C++, however mathematical modelling or physics modelling is more important as C++ can be trained quite easily.
This organisation has a really unique place in the software development field delivering a really high level of quality with their programs that relate specifically towards the physics sector.
As this is a role for a Computational Physicist you will be provided with training and career development, however we are expecting you to have had exposure to physics/mathematical computation development while completing a Physics or Mathematics degree.
We are open to people who have just finished a PhD or with a few years of industry/Post-Doc experience.
People who have succeeded in this type of role previously often have technical hobbies, this could be from an engineering, software, problem solving or other complex hobbies that challenge the mind.
I expect someone to take this role quickly, so if you are interested please make an application straight away.
