EMC Test Engineer - Cambridge
A well-established manufacturer of wireless hardware systems based in Cambridgeshire are looking for an experienced EMC Test Engineer to join their team.
The role will give the EMC Test Engineer an opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies along with some of the leading scientists and engineers within the sector. This company are going through a period of growth which they anticipate will continue over the coming years, meaning that you will be provided with an excellent challenge with ample career progression opportunities as well as hands on training and development.
Your main responsibilities will Primarily involve performing pre-compliance radiated and conducted emissions testing against regulatory requirements as well as developing new test plans for future products. You will also be charged with maintaining the EMC testing facility and executing complex testing plans.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need previous experience within an EMC testing capacity as well as possessing a deep understanding of RF testing equipment and methods. Familiarity of environment chambers and antenna measurements is highly desirable.
