Senior Electronics Engineer - Antenna R&D - Cambridge
A fast-growing and highly regarded manufacturer of complex electronics based in Cambridge are looking to expand their R&D division by bringing on board a senior Electronics Engineer.
This company are at the forefront of innovation and invest heavily in research and development. The products you will work on will be ground-breaking technology with the aim of improving people's lives.
This hands-on R&D role will be mainly focused on the design and development of small antennas for wireless devices for the defence and aerospace sectors. You will be charged with performing electromagnetic simulations as well as developing new test methodologies and leading the development from initial concept through to design for manufacture.
This exciting new role will give the Electronics Engineer an excellent opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest engineers, scientists and leaders within the medical devices sector in state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops.
This role will also provide the Electronics specialist with the freedom to flourish and manage their own projects as well as providing merit-based promotions and bonuses.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a solid understanding of RF and wireless fundamentals as well as some exposure to the defence or aerospace sector regulations. This will ideally be coupled with a strong academic record and testing in anechoic chambers.
