Senior Data Scientist - Robotics - Cambridge
An up-and-coming robotics firm within the vibrant Cambridge technology cluster are actively looking for an experienced machine learning data scientist to join their highly-regarded data science and analytics team.
This exciting new role will give the Data Scientist an opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry as well as on some of the most exciting technologies in the sector. In terms of day to day activities you will be responsible for and take lead on several projects across the robotics field, with a focus on machine and computer vision technologies. You will use your analytical skills to understand the project brief and foresee any technical challenges that may arise as well as taking lead on the project.
We are looking for people who enjoy solving complex problems, that either revolve around improving efficiency of products or services or aim to save and improve people's lives. We are considering people from graduate level through to senior experience.
To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or other related subjects and will have a thorough understanding of data science whilst possessing an innovative and forward thinking mind-set. You will need to have exposure to Python and ideally Tensorflow as well as deep neural networks. Any experience with computer vision and imaging would be extremely advantageous.
