Bioengineering Graduate - Medical Devices R&D - Cambridge
An exciting medical devices manufacturer based in rural Cambridgeshire are looking for Biomedical and Bioengineering graduates to join their newly created R&D operations team.
Because this is a brand-new team we are looking for people with a passion for products that aim to improve and save people's lives.
As a Bioengineering Graduate, you will be joining a graduate programme that will aim to continuously develop your skills with a defined career path for you to follow. Initially you will be charged with the testing and operations of the company's flagship product. They essentially are looking for graduates and tinkerers to test, break, fix and improve their product and mechanisms, with components produced in-house as well as bought-in.
You will be working closely with R&D engineers and scientists to ensure your discoveries and feedback will make a real difference and be put in to practice.
There are two main routes for you to follow, either focusing on the pure R&D of the product and future pipeline or more customer focused roles such as sales engineering or technical account management. Both have their advantages and as such it would be up to you to decide your preferred route.
To be considered for this role we are looking for recent biomedical or bioengineering graduates with either a first or a 2:1 and a real passion for medical devices. Ideally you will have focused on either electronics or mechanical engineering and have technical hobbies.
In exchange for your skills and expertise, the company offer a highly competitive package as well as providing excellent career progression within an innovative environment.
