Senior Mechanical Engineer - Motors and Systems - Cardiff
Newton Colmore Consulting are working with an engineering innovator in Cardiff who are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their R&D team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mechanical designer to join a team of passionate engineers who strive for innovation. The team have won numerous awards for their work and also have a presence in the US.
Within this role you will be reporting directly to the CTO and will be charged with designing and developing complex motors and systems, including the testing and simulation. As you will be joining a small team this is a role where you can make a real difference. As well as designing and simulation you will also need to design brand new verification methods to test and verify your ideas.
This role is working on brand-new products which means you will always have something new on your horizon.
We are looking for people with experience in the design and analysis of motors and systems, coupled with a strong academic background in engineering. You will also need to have experience with FEA and SolidWorks and programming in python or MATLAB. The company are looking for forward-thinking engineers who can solve complex engineering problems with ingenuity.
