COMSOL Engineer - Physics and Simulation - Cambridge
Due to a high rise if physics and simulation projects, a scientific engineering company based in Cambridge are currently looking for a COMSOL Engineer.
With a strong focus on simulation engineering, using COMSOL, we are looking for physicists and engineers who like to work on highly complex projects that will involve you inventing new ideas to tackle.
Your projects can focus on a wide range of approaches such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Optics, Photonics, Electromagnetics, Dynamic Mechanics and other complex fields that will use your problem solving and simulation skills. Due to this, ideally you will have worked on a number of different types of projects in a number of different fields.
You will tackle projects from a number of different angles that may involve you using 'pen and paper' physics and mathematics approach to problems. Due to this, physics and mathematics basics knowledge is just as important as complex COMSOL engineering and simulation.
As you may expect, it will be expected that you will hold a degree within a physics, engineering, electronics or another field that has led into a role where you have been using COMSOL continually. We are open to people with a year of experience through to very senior candidates, as long as you have a focus of using COMSOL. This experience could be industry or academia.
