Biomedical Engineer - Cambridge
A growing Medical Devices company, based in Cambridge, are currently looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer to help with the development of Electro-Medical Devices.
You will be working within a team of Biomedical Engineers helping to experiment on new technologies to predict any possible problems with the technology. You will also investigate problems that have already happened to work out the best ways to fix them and create ways to stop them happening in the future.
As an experienced Biomedical Engineer, you will also be helping with the mentoring and training of Graduate Biomedical Engineers. Due to this, ideally you will have had experience on Electro-Medical Devices so know about the hardware, software and electronics of a Medical Device.
As expected, you would hold a degree within a Biomedical, Engineering or Electronics field along with some industry experience or PhD experience.
This company has some impressive growth plans, meaning you will have a great opportunity to move your career into a more senior position or more technical position, depending on your preference.
You will need to visit client sites across Europe, so you must be willing to fly to clients when needed. However, a lot of the work is done on site in Cambridge. Due to travelling to international clients, knowledge of other European languages would be useful.
