Senior Data Scientist - Scientific Data - Cambridge
A sector leading scientific organisation is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join them and help with the technical and strategic leadership of the Data Science Team. Based in Cambridge, you will be working with a range of Data Scientists, Machine Learners and Engineers to help continually improve the technology that has made this company award winning.
Unlike some Data Scientist roles, there is no chance of getting bored in this role as the data you will be working on will continually be changing and presenting new problems all the time. We are ideally looking for someone who has been a Data Scientist for a few years and can help mentor other Data Scientists and take on leadership responsibilities as the team grows.
As mentioned, you will need to have already been working as a Data Scientist, ideally in a role where the software has been used to develop electro-mechanical systems. This exposure could have been in the scientific, medical devices, aerospace, defence, automotive or other complex fields where your work is used on a product or system.
You will hold a relevant degree within Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or another complex field that allowed you a move into becoming a Data Scientist.
As you would expect, you will need to have a good level of experience in Python, R, MATLAB or other similar software skills.
This company are giving you the chance to work on projects that are going to continually push forward in the scientific sector, due to this I'm expecting a lot of interest. So, if you are interested I would suggest applying now.
