My client is a mid-sized agrochemical player that has been growing consistent year on year. They are know in the market for focusing on innovative products (non Generics) and really bring an added value to their customers and the farmers. Due to replacement a position opened for an experienced sales candidate to join the team.
You will mainly be working from home and cover a variety of customers based in the south speaking part of Belgium. Your tasks are very diverse and vary from helping out customer in a reactive way: trouble shoot what went wrong in case clients are not getting the effects they expected and see what can be changed so they are satisfied. This might end up with you speaking with R&D and even tests happening on the client's fields to see what went wrong and what solutions can be found. Second of all you will work in a pro-active way: increase sales to existing distributors by actively approach them and try getting new products out on the market. Then you will have further ad-hoc tasks and promotion events.
You will join a motivated sales team that meets once a week in the head quarters. This so you won't loose the touch with the colleagues and can be involved in discussing relevant sales strategies.
To be successful:
* Technical background
* Proven sales experience with plant protection products (pesticides, fungicides, insecticides,…)
* Fluency in French and ideally also Dutch (or willingness to improve your Dutch level)
* Living in the South part of Belgium and willing to cover this geographical scope
* Valid work permit
* Good communication skills
