My client is a small, growing pharmaceutical company who have a new position available for a Director of Patient Advocacy & Policy to join them and drive patient advocacy across Europe within the area of Rare Diseases.

This role is a great opportunity for anyone looking to work with a small company and have an influence on the growth of the future team. In this strategic, hands-on role, you will work closely with European & US-based teams.

You will also be responsible for:

Leading the development and implementation of patient advocacy plans and strategies within Europe
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with patient advocacy groups
Acting as a representative for the patient voice within the Rare Diseases environment
Developing and managing a network of contacts (payers, patient advocates, policymakers) ; driving patient engagement activities

To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

A significant level of Patient Advocacy and Policy experience gained within the pharmaceutical industry
Experience of, or a knowledge/interest in, Rare Diseases
The willingness to travel (within the UK & Europe but also to the US)
A University degree, or equivalent qualification, within a Life Sciences subject or other relevant discipline
