My client is a large international player in the chemical industry. Primarily they focus on environmental impact and worldwide waste reduction. They are looking for an experienced advisor to come in, join the team and help improve and maintain current EHS procedures and standards.
The position is two-fold. One part of this job means you will be in charge of their 'technology centre' in Belgium where you will assess all current EHS procedures and implement any improvements as well as following them up to make sure you are continuously improving EHS performance. You will also assist with employee training, risk assessments and more.
The second part of this role is traveling to client sites and assisting the field service engineers with matters relating to EHS and auditing said sites. This means that you will get to see different technologies and simultaneously expand your knowledge.
Many of their EHS procedures are already in place however they are looking for someone to propose changes and implement new ones.
My client is looking for someone with:
1 Prevention Advisor Level 2 Certificate.
2 Fluency in English and Dutch.
3 Proven EHS experience.
4 Living in Leuven area, close-by or willing to relocate.
5 Valid driving license.
6 Valid work permit.
