My client is a midsized agrochemical player, active In the industrial and biological pesticides and Fertiliser market. They have a specific business plan, with main focus sales areas, outside of Europe. This means that you will be dealing with sales on a global level, allowing you to expand your international network. To support this growth they are looking for an experienced sales/marketing manager to join the team. You will be travelling for around 7-10 days a month to visit international clients and then spend one work week in their Head Quarters in the Netherlands. The rest of the the time you can do from home-office.
The week that you are in the Netherlands, you will be managed by and experienced sales manager. He will be able to teach you new things and will allow you to expand your skill-set. As the role is on a global level, you will receive a lot of autonomy and decision making freedom, allowing you to shape the scope of the role.
The portfolio is a mix of pesticides and fertilizers, Generic and biologicals. This means you will have a diverse portfolio of solutions to offer to your clients. Further you will get training options to expand your product knowledge, in case you haven't worked with a specific part of the portfolio.
To be successful:
* Sales/Marketing experience with Pesticides and/or Fertilisers
* International sales experience (in or outside of Europe)
* Fluency in English and Spanish would be highly recommended
* Willing to travel for 2 weeks a month (to clients and the Netherlands)
* Scientific background
