Junior Advisor Compliance and Permits
As a junior compliance, permits and safety advisor you are closely involved in a variety of projects (from compliance with environmental legislation and applying for permits to conducting safety studies) that we mainly carry out for large industrial companies and (technical) multinationals.
Your duties include:
Support with permit applications (including the drafting of associated reports and notes);
Helping to conduct audits;
Helping companies to (continue to) comply with laws and regulations;
Drawing up registers of laws and regulations, as well as setting up management systems (quality, working conditions, safety and environment);
Assisting in conducting various environmental and / or safety-related investigations;
Monitoring the planning and progress within permit procedures.
We will determine your location (Amsterdam, Assen, Deventer, Eindhoven, Utrecht or Rotterdam) in consultation. Although you have a location, you often work 'outside the door' (project locations).
In order to properly perform this function, we require an (almost) completed HBO or WO course in environmental science (chemistry or technology), environmental management or HVK. Preferably, you also have some practical experience, which may (partly) consist of internship experience. Beside:
Be (and stay) informed of the laws and regulations concerning permits and the HSE file. Knowledge of and / or some experience with environmental and safety laws and regulations is a must. Consider, for example, WABO, Environment Act, Activities Decree, BRZO and Water Act.
You have affinity with technology and production processes. You enjoy working in a dynamic project environment and you become enthusiastic about HSE, permit and legislation and regulation related issues.
Are you a real team player who makes contact easily and can switch quickly between different projects?
Are you in possession of a B driving license
Have you not yet graduated, but do you expect to obtain your diploma in the summer of 2019? Even then we invite you to apply (starting in September is no problem).
You work in an inspiring and dynamic environment, where you are surrounded by colleagues who work on a sustainable and future-proof living environment based on their intrinsic motivation. In addition to a challenging position, we offer excellent employment conditions and nice extras:
