Salary;
48,000 - 64,000 (depending on experience)

Role summary;
A global leading CRO currently require an experienced, fully home-based Senior/Principal Medical Writer to work on a huge variety of Oncology based Publications projects. This would enable the right individual to be more involved in the project, trials and pitches to clients.

You will be acting as a senior therapy area/content expert, leading the delivery of your assigned projects within the writing team. You will be entrusted to develop an exceptional level of scientific content through necessary research, editing, scientific writing and fact checking. You must be able to maintain expert information of the relevant therapy areas and client purposes.

As this a Senior role you will be expected to provide leadership and mentorship for junior members to ensure their work is accurate and prosperous, providing sublime direction to develop your team and ensuring that they become continuously improving individual who can become strong assets to the company.

Responsibilities;
Entrusted with building pre-existing and new client relationships in cooperation with the Scientific and Client services teams.
Recognising multipart technical and process challenges and work with the Scientific team to resolve all issues that arise.
Have a strong awareness to new opportunities to develop follow-on business and develop/secure NBAs in conjunction with the Accounts team.
Actively manage and communicate changes in project scope.
Sustain a high level of client satisfaction with all relevant deliverables.
Provide strategic input in programmes/projects.
Liaise with clients to ensure timelines are being correctly managed and expectations within assigned projects/programs are being monitored appropriately.
Negotiate with clients confidently and passionately.

Candidate requirements;
Degree in life sciences (Pharmacy or Medicine related discipline is crucial).
MSc or PHD is desirable but not essential.
3-5 years Prior CRO, Pharma, Academic Institution or Medical communications experience.
Strong communication skills.
Client facing experience.
Vast Publications experience, researching Medical/scientific topics.
Strong Oncology experience.
