Jenni Woolley is recruiting for a Medical Affairs Specialist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Hoddesdon on a 6 month contract basis.

Our client is a global healthcare leader providing innovative medicines, vaccines, therapies, animal health products and solutions. Their products cover a broad range of areas, including cardiovascular disease and immunology, infectious diseases, and women's health. They focus their research on conditions that affect millions of people around the world - diseases like Alzheimer's, diabetes and cancer - while building strengths in new areas like biologics.
 
The Location:
This position will be situated at our clients site in Hoddesdon. Hoddesdon is a town in the Broxbourne borough of the English county of Hertfordshire, situated in the Lea Valley. It is located 3 miles West of Harlow, 4 miles southeast of Hertford, 5 miles north of Waltham Cross and 11 miles southwest of Bishop's Stortford.
 
The Role:
The Medical Affairs contractor will:
·Provide clinical and scientific input into the development of medical and promotional materials for assigned therapeutic areas
·Complete the medical review (certification / examination) of promotional and non-promotional materials ensuring compliance with ABPI Code of Practice, statutory and Company requirements

To be considered for this role you should have the following key skills, knowledge and experience:

oAbility to work autonomously within the agreed processes.
·Problem Solving:
oProactive, with the ability resolve complex problems and ambiguous situations and apply own judgement in developing a solution.
oAbility to accurately interpret / critically appraise literature
oAbility to resolve situations with diplomacy where opinions differ
oAbility to prioritise effectively.
·Collaboration:
oAbility to work collaboratively with senior staff and cross functionally with Marketing, Legal, Compliance and External Affairs, Market Access.
oProactively engage with brand team, providing constructive and creative solutions and be a valued partner.
