Control Electronics Engineer - Medical Devices - Cambridge

An exciting position has arisen within a medical devices company in Cambridge as they are looking to grow their R&D team by hiring several Control Electronics Engineers to work on their leading-edge technology.

Because of the nature of this role we are looking for people who love solving complex engineering problems with a passion to work on technology aimed at improving and saving people's lives.

As a Control Electronics Engineer you will be heavily involved with the design and development of complex control systems for the company's new medical device. This includes a novel embedded platform which is core to their technology. You will be using your experience, alongside world-class engineers to help design and implement embedded systems with your primary focus on the closed loop control of the technology's array.

You will be utilising your numerical modelling and simulation skills and your signal processing knowledge to create something truly unique and market-leading.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have hands-on signal processing and embedded electronics experience. This will be coupled with modelling and simulation experience, ideally with Python or MATLAB. Any exposure to data acquisition and non-linear systems would be extremely advantageous.
