DSP Engineer - Complex Technologies - Cambridgeshire

A fast-growing wireless technology developer based in Cambridgeshire are looking to expand their R&D division by bringing on board an experienced digital signal processing (DSP) engineer to work on wireless communications projects.

We are looking for people with a passion for engineering and who enjoy solving complex problems.

This hands-on R&D role will be mainly focused on the design and development of embedded systems and algorithms with the aim of creating new and disruptive technologies and solving extremely complex problems. You will be working on both in-house and consulting projects, which will offer you a unique work environment, alongside fellow world-class engineers and scientists.

You will take lead within a multi-disciplinary team with the aim of creating and developing novel solutions and new wireless technologies within the company's roadmap.

You will be utilising your signal processing experience to take lead on innovative products aimed at solving real-world engineering problems. This will vary from low-cost IoT devices through to military communication systems. With the emergence of machine learning and artificial intelligence, you will also be incorporating these technologies into new systems.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have a degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics or other related subjects and have a thorough understanding of digital signal processing.

You will also have prior experience within a highly regulated environment such as; medical devices or defence and have experience in modelling dynamic systems. You will need to have strong embedded, C and MATLAB knowledge also.
