The Role:

The role of the marketing manager is to define and execute the marketing plan for the various product lines in our subscriptions business. They will utilise the full marketing mix and work alongside the sales team to create a joined up sales and marketing plan to drives leads and direct revenue.

This Role Involves:
Marketing campaigns

Plan and execute email marketing schedule
Work closely with sales reps and researchers to generate engaging content
Copywriting of emails, website and other marketing pieces of content
Copy proofing of all marketing materials
Website Design / build and updating
Drive traffic to the website from new customers and returning users
Generate qualified leads and nurture marketing database
Campaign Analysis (individual emails, content, downloads and overall campaigns)
Lead Framework Analysis (track and prioritise high ROI channels)
Fulfil overall Social Media communication strategy across LinkedIn and Twitter
Co-ordination with the designers on all collateral
Build the size and maintain quality of our internal marketing database
Build industry partnership with association or industry partners
Ownership of marketing budget and reporting on ROI
Complete invoices
Portfolio branding vision, concepts, design guidelines
Customer journey
Customer personas

A successful candidate will have:

Experience in working in a direct marketing role in circulation, subscriptions, conferences, exhibitions, or similar
Proven track record of successfully running your own marketing campaigns
Excitement about driving commercial results through marketing
Takes on wider projects on behalf of the marketing function
Builds comprehensive marketing plans from both a qualitative and quantitative standpoint to achieve overarching event goals
Is highly effective at managing time and balancing short and long term priorities for themselves for events and wider projects
Ability to carry our marketing plan autonomously
Able to juggle conflicting priorities and manage stakeholders to deliver the best results for the organisation
Provides manager with feedback
Understands the mission and values of the organisation
Experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceuticals desired, but not required
